STAGES OF GRIEF (2023)

In this series, grief is personified through abstract forms that extend beyond the body, capturing its non-tangible and abstract nature. Denial takes shape as a childhood tent, a sanctuary from loss. Anger erupts in fiery hair and sharp spikes. Puzzle pieces dangle from bargaining, a struggle to reconstruct the past. Depression alters the body into a swirling white void, while organic shapes drift from the shoulders of acceptance. Grief, here, is alive—a raw, overwhelming, and deeply human response to loss.
